If having a definite date and time set aside for your tattoo session works best for you, then booking an appointment is the way to go. Give us a call, come in, or message your favourite artist directly and we can make that happen at a time that works best for everyone. But if you are more of a 'fly by the seat of your pants' kind of person, then by all means come on in when you are in the mood, and we will do our very best to hook you up with the very next availability. Often right on the spot!! Keep in mind though, that although we will work by walk ins on a first come first serve basis, there might be a wait if you pop in during a point when all of our artists are already booked. But even if we have to arrange to have you come in the following day, we will still take care of all your needs at the very earliest that we are able to.
We try to make your tattoo experience as convientient as possible. So at all 3 locations we are equipped to accept almost any form of payment that you prefer. Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and just about any other form of electronic payment. However, at the moment, we do not have tap capability, and we cannot accept cheques.
At Neon Crab, since we believe every tattoo should be 'one of a kind' we will custom design a tattoo just for you free of charge. it's what we do, and we love to do it for our clients. However, if your request is an ambitious one, at their discretion, the artist may request a deposit so they can dedicate the time it will take to design your entire back piece or sleeve. But we still will not charge you for the custom work. That deposit will come off of the total cost of your tattoo when you come in to make your design permanent.
Yes. The minimum ages are 18 years old for tattoos and 16 years old for piercing. Parental consent is required for any age below the minimum. We do our very best to operate our studio ethically and responsibly, and so just like selling cigarettes, if you appear younger than the minimum age, photo id may be requested and required.
Absolutely. All needles, inks, tubes, etc. are disposable one time use. Each comes sealed in brand new sterile packaging for each new client. We keep meticulous records of procedures, lot numbers, and inspection reports. We maintain an autoclave sterilizer on site, which is tested for performance regularly by the NB Bioscience sterilizer monitoring program. The studio and premises have been certified by the Local Public Health Unit, and will continue to be inspected at regular intervals to ensure the safest possible working conditions. We strive to be leaders in our field, and keep apprised of new technologies, information and best practices. All of our records are available for inspection by anyone who requests them. Just ask one of our helpful staff, and they will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
